I may have said "cocaine dead" at some point, but I'm pretty sure I heard it somewhere else first.

As for 1982: I was recently turned onto this year in a big way, haven't checked out any of the shows you mentioned though. I was really impressed by 10/9 and 10/10 (10/9 has an outstanding eyes of the world) as well as 9/17. I'll have to load up my ipod with the year in the next few days. Lately I've just been listening to Winter '68 ad infinitum...

Yeah, I'm sure the thought has occured to others, too! Well, I like the 82 energy, though sometimes it's too much zip and too little jam. The shows you mentioned are some of my favorites for that year. I also like the MSG shows, 9/20 and 9/21, though I haven't heard the whole East Coast tour so don't really have an impression of the fall tour "as a whole." I've heard the Jamaica show, 11/21, and remember thinking it was a lot better than its reputation.
